When we acquired Whittier Manor at 8615 Whittier Blvd in Pico Rivera, the property had already become a symbol of neglect. Red-tagged after a balcony collapse, it had stood vacant for years attracting crime, vandalism, and blight. Families who once lived there had been displaced, and neighbors had lost hope that the building would ever serve the community again.
Instead of walking away, we saw an opportunity. What many considered “beyond saving” became a project we poured resources, vision, and accountability into. Step by step, we tackled the structural damage, eliminated mold and dry rot, and completely modernized the utilities. Every unit was rebuilt with safety and compliance as the first priority, ensuring the building met (and exceeded) current codes.

But this wasn’t just about construction — it was about restoring dignity. We partnered with city officials, local contractors, and community organizations to make sure the property could serve families once more, not as a hotspot for crime but as a safe and stable place to live.
Today, (Whittier Manor) new name RISE and create more housing for the underserved communities stands as proof of what responsible ownership can achieve. Where there were once red tags and broken balconies, there are now secure doors, clean hallways, landscaped courtyards, and families who call it home. It’s not just about rebuilding walls — it’s about rebuilding trust in neighborhoods that deserve better.

California Housing Shortage

California needs more homes now. Every year, thousands of families are pushed out by rising costs and a lack of available units. While most developers focus on big projects in prime locations, we’ve chosen a different path: building where no one else wants to build.

At Golden Management, we’re tackling the housing shortage head-on by creating Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and rehabbing neglected properties. These small but powerful homes add safe, affordable supply without requiring new land or massive infrastructure. In the Inland Empire alone, we’ve delivered 200+ ADUs real units that provide real relief for families in need.
